PMC Employee Pet Spotlight – Schroeder Cloyes
Schroeder is a 2 year old yellow Labrador retriever. Just a year ago, he was a puppy in training for Guide Dogs for the Blind, however he was career changed when he was diagnosed with bilateral elbow dysplasia. His puppy raiser, Emily decided she wanted to adopt him and he has been her pet ever since. Schroeder is a very fun, happy boy. He loves to play tug with his rope toys and playing with his best friends Charlie and Shep. His hobbies include going to daycare to play with his buddies, going to the lake, running through the trees in the backyard, swimming, sleeping, and using his super sweet baby face to get treats. Schroeder is also involved with Therapy Dogs International. This last December, he took his therapy dog test and passed with flying colors. Although he didn’t become a guide dog for the blind, he loves his job as a therapy dog. He loves when young kids at the library read to him, and he gets their loves and pets. Schroeder also loves having puppies in the house. Since Emily raises guide dog puppies, there are puppies constantly in the house and he is a good role model for them. He likes to play with them to tire them out and he teaches them good things. Schroeder is a sweet, loving boy, that makes friends wherever he goes.
